
The success of the Annual Chamber Banquet depends on community involvement. All award recipients are nominated by Martin County residents, and we encourage everyone to take part in recognizing those who make a difference.

The Outstanding Community Service Award honors a Martin County resident who volunteers with a local organization and has dedicated a significant amount of time to positively impact the community and the lives of its citizens. All service must be voluntary, non-paid, and performed in support of a non-profit organization within Martin County.

The Volunteer First Responder Award recognizes an individual who serves the community of Lenorah or Stanton and has demonstrated outstanding dedication, service, and performance in protecting and supporting the community over the past year.

The Ag Family of the Year Award recognizes a family that resides in Martin County, owns agricultural land, and supports the community through ranching, agricultural involvement, farmers markets, or participation in other community events.

The Lifetime Achievement Award, which is not presented every year, honors an individual who has demonstrated long-term, dedicated service and sustained leadership in Martin County. This individual has made significant and lasting contributions through volunteering, advocacy, or leadership, created or strengthened programs or initiatives that benefit the community, and served as a role model whose exceptional impact has positively affected the lives of many and inspired others to serve Martin County.

The Person of the Year Award honors a Martin County resident who is an active community member and has made a significant positive impact over the past year through involvement in an organization dedicated to improving the lives of Martin County citizens, while positively influencing numerous individuals within the community.

The Business of the Year Award recognizes a for-profit or non-profit business that is headquartered in or has a significant presence in Martin County and demonstrates meaningful involvement with the community that goes beyond its day-to-day business operations, showing a strong commitment to supporting and engaging with Martin County citizens.
